TEARS IN SORROW OR JOY
WOMAN
In the depth of her eyes I think I saw
Through the corner of her eyes so slow,
Ere it reached her cheeks she choked
She stopped them in their flow !
She controlled today her unknown fears…
For her unfound child she spared her tears….
& MAN
He was a man, he thought at times
He had nothing to do with tears
Seeing his son struggle hard in his prime
Reminded him of his hardfought time….
And choked him with those unknown tears….
GIRL
I hate you! I hate you! She thumped his chest
Her heart raced like a horse of the wild west
She thought she would that night not last
As she went numb with his grip and pull
Tears again dropped into her bosom full
I love you! I love you! She whimpered at last.
& BOY
He cried like a baby in her frail little arms
How could he chastise and bring her harm
He sobbed on her bosom yet again
Tears did flow as she stroked away his pain
SO THEY MUST FLOW…..
Tears in a Man inundated I have known
Tears of a woman in her joys unknown
Tears of a mother when the new born cries
Tears of a father when his son, just ‘tries’….
"AND FLOW ON…
Find a man who can say to me
“I never cried” - he is a liar you see.
Sad is a man who says he never could cry
His sorrows bottled and his throat choked
He would go out and give one more try
And in the rain, he’d wobble in his jeans
As his tears in the rains - flow unseen.
TEARS & MORE...
In life, and death the tears flow unchecked
Every pent up heart in its wave is wrecked.
Tears can shear what no sword can do
And tears can join hearts sans much ado.
